I am finally getting to sit down to write something.  I started writing this on Thursday, and then tried to write more yesterday, and then since I was at my parent’s house earlier today, I tried again, but I keep getting interrupted by something.  And of course, like a good mother that I am, I totally missed that Elden turned 6 months on Wednesday, which was freakin 5 days ago.

So really there is nothing too exciting going, except that my Information Retrieval class starts tomorrow.  I was going to take the online class, but I decided to take the one that meets on campus, only because I feel that I really need some no kid time. Seriously, you really need to take some time away from the kids sometimes, or else you will really lose your sanity. So this class meets once a week from 4:00-6:45 p.m.  Mondays are going to be really crazy because in the morning we have Brennan’s class, which is only my volunteer day.  Then we only have a little time before we have to take off and drop the kids off at my parent’s house, which is about 45 minutes away.  Except tomorrow, I have to drop Den off at his office, and then drop the kids off, and then go to class.  So I will be traveling for at least 1 hour and a half, but the other times, Den will be dropping me off and then dropping the kids off.  All this driving is really a pain in the butt.  At least in the Fall semester, we will have moved and then Den will only be 5 minutes from his work, I will be about 10 minutes from school, and about 15 minutes from my parent’s house.

Oh today, we went to my parent’s house.  I was able to hang out with my bro for lunch, and then we wandered aimlessly in Fry’s Electronics for several hours.  I love perusing through electronics stores.  I was super duper excited, when I saw that they had the Archos PVP on display.  I was seriously happy as a clam, but of course, I couldn’t just buy it, since we can’t afford it.  I was seriously ready to charge it.  Man, it really does suck not to make any of my own money sometimes. Oh well, maybe I will have a chance to get it for my birthday which is coming up in March.  If I restrain myself from buying any scrapping supplies (this will be so hard, since CHA is this week in Vegas and there will be a lot of cool products coming out), and not buy any coffee from MoonButts, then maybe, just maybe, some nice person will get it for me.  Hello Den???? HELLLLLOOOOOOO!!!!

Anyways, when I started this post originally on Thursday, I wanted to mention this program on A&E titled “Random 1“.  It is just a touching show.  With all the crap going on in this world, it is nice to see people trying to do random acts of kindness.  Here is the description of the show.

Breathing real life into the parable of the Good Samaritan, Random 1 features a feisty, passionate crew who scout the streets of America looking for people who need help solving everyday problems. On each one-hour show, the team finds a way to give two strangers a special nudge, a helpful push in a life-changing direction. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. Random 1 team never knows what will happen as they try to help others.

Watch this original, riveting series as a dedicated team of grassroots do-gooders travels the USA, banking on honesty and offering Random 1 acts of kindness.

If you get a chance, try to check this show out.  Oh, and here is a list of random acts of kindness, that you can do.

We went to the Madrona Marsh yesterday for Brennan’s school field trip. I feel so overwhelmed at times when I am knee deep in kids, so it was nice to be outside with nature and to be with my little family. It was such a beautiful day.  It was a little chilly, but I thought it was going to be warmer because the day before was extremely warm.  You just never know about this weather.  Here are a few of my favorite pictures.

I absolutely love this picture, especially the reflections from the water.

Another beauty. It was such a lovely day too.

I just love the way the wheelbarrows were all lined up.

To let you know, I didn’t tweak these pictures in any way.

I signed up for myspace in June 2005.  Until recently, I had pretty much lost interest in it.  It turns out that you can do a search for you highschool classmates.  I know, I know, why the heck would you want to get in touch with your old alumnae. I am sure most people only keep in touch with a few people anyways.  I keep in touch with one person and we only talk like every 6 months. So I did a search from my highschool Bishop Amat and I linked to all of the names that came up from the search.  All but two of them linked me back.

So anyways, there was this one guy who apparently died and his girlfriend/ex fiance responded to me.  But on his myspace account, it didn’t say anything like rest in peace, or stating that it was her owned that myspace account. This other person told me that after he heard that our friend had died, his myspace account popped.  So anyways, I have been corresponding with the girlfriend.  I found out that he passed away from suicide in September and that he was bipolar (I got that part from my other friend).  I had no clue about his mental status. I remember him always being so happy and smiling all the time.  Maybe he was diagnosed later in life or something. According to the girlfriend, it was his second attempt on suicide.  They were living in downtown Koreatown and he was working at a hospital as director of social services.  Now why would someone with mental state be holding a job like that?  Such a sad story.

I did get to talk on the phone with the other classmate.  I think we chatted for about an hour or so.  We kept asking, do you remember this person, do you remember this person.  Going on and on. Too much fun conversation.  I think I need to find my old yearbooks and reminince about those old higschool days.

I really want to stop writing in my blog, but apparently I can’t.  I’ve already written 5 entries in the last 3 hours.  WTF???

So Wednesday was really a crazy day.  It started out mellow and fun, but things got stressful in the afternoon, with Brennan’s last minute pulpotomy. Den fed Elden rice cereal for the first time. I fed him in the early evening.  He made some weird faces, but overall was happy with what was going into his mouth.

So after my slight depression, that lasted for several hours, I think I am all better now.  You can read my schizoid entry below.  You just need a password.  If you don’t already have it, or you forgot it, or you just plain want it dammit, just email me.  That is, if I remember.  Anyways, I highly doubt anyone is interested.  It’s just boring old me.

I also last second decided to upgrade to wordpress 2.0.  During that process, I also decided that I was tired of the old look.  Sorry bonsai.  You’re awesome and everything, but I just was down and I needed a facelift.  But apparently, the surgeon injected too much botox in my face and didn’t give me the right size silicone for the girls.  I know, it’s missing a title and all the links are mixed up.  But hey, you have to take the good things in life, with the bad.  And with that said, it is 4:59 a.m. and I haven’t yet scrapped, like I was planning to.  Nor have I slept yet.  Elden woke up 3 times.  I thought he supposed to sleep through the night already.  I am still planning to go to the gym, but I realistically, I don’t know if I will have enough energy.  But oh, my aching body, needs something.

Seriously, though, I think I am losing my mind and losing touch with reality.  Someone, please help me.  I really need a spa day soon, sans kids.

Thank you, Dr. 90210.  This new version of wordpress is crazy cool!
